The center i.e. the Brahmasthan needs openness so that energy can circulate freely. A cluttered center creates unseen resistance, leading to slower sales or indecisive customers.
The heavier elements of the showroom, such as safes, lockers, and accounting rooms, should ideally be positioned in the South or Southwest. These directions are governed by stability and long-term accumulation, which makes them ideal for storing valuable inventory.
Meanwhile, customer seating and display showcases flourish beautifully in the North and Northeast, where lighter, more welcoming energy supports browsing and easy decision-making.
The Cash Counter
A cash counter is the heart of financial transactions, and in a jewellery showroom, it holds even greater significance. Placing the cash counter in the North direction allows the business to align directly with Kubera, the lord of wealth.
The Safe and Inventory Room
Safes containing gold, diamonds, and other precious items should always be placed in zones of strength and security. The Southwest is the most reliable direction for this, as it supports long-term holding and prevents unnecessary movement or loss of wealth.
Security and Surveillance
Security is the backbone of a jewellery showroom, and Vastu plays a surprisingly important role here. High-activity directions like Southeast are ideal for placing alarm systems, surveillance controls, and active monitoring rooms. The fire element of this zone keeps the team alert and enhances overall vigilance.
Meanwhile, guards or security personnel should preferably be positioned near the main entrance, especially if it opens towards the North or East. Their presence helps maintain a sense of order and protection without interrupting the flow of customer energy.
